Names for Cats I don't even have yet

     I really like naming things, even though I am very bad at it. And along with my plan to get an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) cat, I have already come up with names I love. A year before I am going to adopt her. As I've talked about before I used to intern as a cat socializer at a small pet store. I loved every one of those cats, even the ones who didn't love snuggles. My favorite was Autumn, also known as the best cat in the world. A purry lap cat who loved to play, everything to love, nothing to hate. Unfortunately I was unable to adopt her, but she gave me the idea to get an ESA and I cannot wait. 

    My favorite names are, surprising to nobody, all fandom names. And by that I mean they are named after characters from my nerdy insanity. 

• Yarnaby, after the best toy in Poppy Playtime. He is my child and I would be so happy to name a cat this. Yarnaby has the best design and is just the cutest guy. He has a traumatizing backstory, even for a Playtime Co. Toy.  You may be asking "Why not Catnap?" and to that I say: fuck you.
• Cloverfield, because it is my favorite non-Godzilla monster movie. Clover's design is amazing and found footage just so happens to be one of my favorite genres of horror.
• Khoshekh, after the floating paranormal in the bathroom from Welcome to Nightvale. (This name has the requirement that it has to be an all black cat.)
  

"But Alti," you may be saying "These characters are all males, and you said you want to get a female cat." I'll say it again, fuck you. This is my cat and even though these are male names, I will use them for my cat, thank you very much.

    There are other options, but I don't like these ones nearly as much as the others. But here they are if you're interested.

• Goji, after Godzilla. She will be all powerful and radioactive. And by that I mean, just a snuggly baby.
• Mothra, for obvious reasons. Mothra is the best kaiju in all of history, need I explain more?
• Cosmo, after my first cat that my family had to give to my aunt. This isn't a fandom name, but I really want to use this name because I love it.
• Deltarune, I haven't even played the games I just really like the name. And I would probably just call her Delta or Rune.
• Echo, after my favorite Velociraptor in Jurassic World.
• Bambi, named after the raptor species, Bambiraptor. Not that stupid deer whose mother was murdered.
• Fennec after my favorite animal and one of my theriotypes. (Therians are explained in another post, I'm too lazy to explain them again.)
• The Creature because I think it's really funny. I probably won't name her this because it feels weirdly cruel.

This is going to be a living post, I am going to update it as I come up with more names. I wanted to keep a list of names, and is there a better way to do it other than let the world see? I love cats and I am so excited to adopt a cat for college. I know she will help with my anxiety and depression, while also being an idiot. Why the fuck did you read this?

Anyway meet my cats I have right now, Zosi (Brown Tabby) and Gunther (Grey Tabby). I unfortunately cannot take either one to college because they're bonded. And neither of them are good emotional support. But they're still my babies and I love them.

Zosi was defeated by Blahaj. It was a great day for the trans, terrible for my cat. She is my cat, named by me. 

Gunther is just a dumbass. Look how fuckin stupid he is. Still love him, he is an amazing cat. He is my brother's cat, which explains why he's so dumb.
